Level 2 – Expanding Skills & Repertoire

Take your guitar skills to the next level with this intermediate course, designed for students who have completed Level 1 or have basic guitar knowledge. This level focuses on chord mastery, rhythm precision, scales, and improvisation to make you a more confident guitarist.

What you'll learn

Course description

The Level 2 Intermediate Guitar Course builds upon the fundamentals of Level 1, introducing students to more complex chords, rhythm patterns, and melody playing.

Students will strengthen chord transitions, strumming accuracy, and fingerpicking techniques, making them comfortable with both lead and rhythm guitar playing. By incorporating scales, basic improvisation, and advanced rhythm exercises, students will start exploring soloing techniques and expressive playing.

This level also introduces barre chords, allowing students to play a wider variety of songs and build finger strength for complex progressions. Additionally, students will learn how to play songs using both chords and melody lines, preparing them for advanced techniques in Level 3.

By the end of Level 2, students will be able to play songs independently, improvise with scales, and transition smoothly between rhythm and lead guitar techniques.
