Welcome to Krishna Learning Center (KLC). By accessing and using our website (www.krishnalearning.ca) and associated services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use, which, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your relationship with KLC.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Krishna Learning Center (KLC), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. KLC reserves the right to change these terms at any time, and your continued use of the website signifies your acceptance of any updated or modified terms.

2. Use of the Website

  • The content of this website is for general information and educational purposes only. It is subject to change without notice.

  • You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the website.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment Methods

Payments can be made through the following methods:

  • Bank Transfers: To the designated KLC account.

  • E-Transfers: To the official KLC email address.

  • Cash Payments: Accepted for in-person classes upon prior arrangement.

3.2 Payment Schedule

  • Payments must be made on the first lesson of each month.

  • Manual Payment Method: You must manually initiate the payment at the start of each billing cycle.

  • A payment reminder will be sent via email before the due date.

3.3 Late Payment Policy

  • If payment is not received by the due date, the following applies:

    • A late fee of $10 may be charged if the payment is more than 5 days overdue.

    • After 15 days of non-payment, access to classes may be suspended until the balance is cleared.

  • Continued non-payment may result in termination of enrollment.

3.4 Yearly Fee Review

  • Fees are subject to an annual review and may be adjusted accordingly.

  • Any changes to the fee structure will be communicated in advance.

3.5 Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Refunds are issued only under specific circumstances:

    • Cancellation by KLC: Full refund or rescheduling option.

    • Medical Emergencies: Refunds are considered with valid proof within 7 days.

  • Non-Refundable Fees:

    • Registration, administrative, and material charges are non-refundable.

  • Refund Process:

    • To request a refund, contact – [email protected] with the reason and any supporting documents.

    • Refunds are processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.

3.6 Disputed Charges

  • If you believe there has been a billing error, contact [email protected] within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

  • Disputes will be resolved promptly, and adjustments will be made if necessary.

4. Class Policies

4.1 Class Duration

  • Group Classes: 45 minutes

  • 1:1 Classes: 30 minutes

  • If You Are the Only Student in the Batch: Class duration will be adjusted to 30 minutes.

4.2 Attendance and Absenteeism Policy

  • Maximum Missed Classes: Students are allowed up to two missed classes per year (January to December).

  • 24-Hour Notice Requirement: A minimum of 24-hour notice is required for cancellations to qualify for a make-up class.

  • No-Show Policy: Lessons missed without notice will not be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Teacher Cancellations: Classes cancelled by the instructor will be rescheduled or adjusted in the next billing cycle.

5. Online Class Guidelines

  • Students may opt to switch to online classes at any time.

  • Temporary Online Attendance: If unable to attend in person, students may join the class online (up to 4 times per year) due to personal reasons or bad weather.

  • Technical Requirements:

    • A device with a working camera and microphone

    • The camera must remain on during the class

  • Missed Online Classes: Due to technical issues on the student’s end, they are not eligible for refunds.

6. Media Usage and Consent

  • KLC may take photos and videos of students during classes and performances for promotional purposes.

  • Media may be used on:

    • Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)

    • KLC’s Website

    • Marketing Materials

7. Limitation of Liability

  • KLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its website or services.

  • The website is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.

8. Governing Law

The laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, govern these terms and conditions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
