Course description
The Level 1: Introduction to Music & Rhythm course is designed for young learners (ages 4-12) to explore music, rhythm, bhajans, and storytelling in a fun, engaging way.
Students will be introduced to Carnatic music basics, bhajan singing, rhythmic patterns, and instrument play, allowing them to build coordination, group participation, and musical listening skills. Through storytelling, clapping exercises, and movement-based learning, children will strengthen their musical awareness and creativity.
The course also integrates yoga and mindfulness exercises to improve focus, breathing, and posture, which are essential for future musical training. By the end of Level 1, students will be able to sing basic swaras, participate in bhajans, keep rhythm, and confidently perform in a group setting.
The final session will include a fun, mini-performance for parents! 🎶
